Postcard of Striking View of Clark Memorial, Lincoln Bridge and Plaza, Vincennes, Indiana. This Beautiful Bridge Marks Spot Where Abe Lincoln Family Crossed Historic Wabash River 1830. Commemorates the winning of the old Northwest by Col. Clark and his frontiersmen in the war of the American Revolution. Clark and his army captured old Fort Sackville here and caused the British to surrender on the morning of February 25, 1779. Back of postcard is unused. Postcard is in good condition, slight wear at edges.
