This is a nice clean 3.0 inch long pocket level with the plain brass top plate that has no maker's markings on it. The level is in great shape with a good working fluid glass and sight window, very clean, no rust. The level can be used on any flat surface, but was also designed to be attached to your steel square blade with the provided screw on the side. The set screw is there to fasten it to your steel square blade, and is in good working order. This one was originally Japanned in a black finish, about 50% of the Japanning remains. A real nice level overall!
