Restaurant ware platter made by Scammell China expressly for Macy's Department Store in New York City.  Used in "The Patio" restaurant inside the store.   Back stamp indicates piece was made between 1925-29.   Measures 9.25" x 13.25" oval.  Moderate surface wear with some minor glaze glitches, but no chips or cracks.  Restaurant was closed in 2000.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
