Pioneer Dept. Deep River Jims 1935 Knife Ad 1935 This is a May 1935 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Pioneer Dept, Open Road for Boys Magazine, Boston. Ad shows head and shoulders picture of Deep River Jim and a full size picture of the knife and sheath. Says Deep river Jims 1935 Model Sheath Knife. He could not improve the blade, so Deep River Jim improved the handle. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 5 1/4 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
