Fine white porcelain dish with pierced-work sides and airbrushed scene in bottom. View is of an Asian waterscape with sampan sailboats and mountains. Piece is not marked, but is similar to other ones I've had that were from the 1930s-50s, most likely Japanese. Sponged gold trim on edges, measures 9 3/4"l x 6 3/8"w, oval with 2 handles. Very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
