Pexto Draw Knife P.S. & W. 10 inch Peck, Stow & Wilcox
This is a nice clean 10" wide blade/cutting edge, vintage draw knife marked "PEXTO" on the upper cross beam. PEXTO was a brand name of the manufactured by PECK, STOW & WILCOX in Southington CT U.S.A.. A very nicely made draw knife, with wood handles, that both have steel domed metal caps, and ferrules, both very solid, both handles have minor finish wear, on them, both are solid and well attached. The handles look very nice, and are solid, no cracks. The cutting edge is very sharp, ready to use condition. All the metal is rust free, and in clean condition, no cracks or damage. (We do note some minor pitting in some areas, generally not effecting the cutting edge or use of this edge tool). A very nice, top quality edge tool, hard to find draw knife!
