Our lovely chandelier, crafted from cast bronze and brass with golden iridescent glass shades is attributed to R. Williamson and Company, circa 1905-1910s.  It's simple and elegant design is representative of the Arts and Crafts period.  Glass shades likely were sources from Tiffany (favrile), Steuben (aurene) or Quoizel. Measures approximately 16 inches across.

The House of Williamson was founded by Ricahrd Williamson in 1882 in Chicago.  At their height in the 1910s their factory exceeded 115,000 square feet and employed over 500 workers, and they were said to have been the largest importer of lamp parts and hardware in the U.S.
