Patera Studio  Mid-Century  Thrown Stoneware Art Pottery Shorebird Pot with Cork

$59.99
Quantity available: 1

Barbara Patera   Studio  Mid-Century  Art Pottery Shorebird Pot with Cork Lid , Signed  on the bottom and  Dated '85.  This is a thrown stoneware pot .  The finish is rough  and  the blue and white  bird which I assume is an egret is of raised smooth mat enamel as well as the blue band at the top.

It is 6.25" wide and 5.5" tall.   The  original cork shows some wear  and is inclined to slip down a bit too far in the opening.   The pot is in excellent condition.

Barbara Patera was a local artist from  Issaquah, Washington who passed away   2010.  She was a print maker and much earlier in the career pottery was her medium.
