Pair Villeroy & Boch Stoneware Vases

Included here are two matching Villeroy & Boch ceramic vases. Each measures 11.5" by 5.75" and each weighs almost 5 lbs. Impressed abbey mark and " METTLACH " mark with " VB " beneath. Numeric impressed marks " 2299 " (form or style number) and " 97 " (date code for 1897). One carries a stamped Villeroy & Boch green mark. Other impressed marks include " Gegen Nachbildung Geschützt " which translates to " Protected Against Copy (Imitation) ". Condition of each is very good, with no visible chips, cracks or restorations. Each could benefit from a gentle cleaning. Additional images forwarded upon request. ( JJJ )
