Pair of Red Cardinal Bird Salt Pepper Shakers  marked on the bottom " Japan ".  They are 3.75" tall.   Hand painted with cold paint.  The condition is very good for such an old set.   They both have corks as well.    No chips or cracks.   Only a scant amount of paint wear.
