Our client's pair of unique neoclassical figural candelabra by the English designer, Francis Rose (1909-1979), are finely crafted from carved lucite (aka plexiglass, acrylic) with enameled bases and candle cups.  Each 22 inches tall and 15 1/2 inches wide.  Underside signed and dated Francis Rose 1949.

Each in good condition with losses to the applied items to the tops of the heads.  The male figure has chips to one nozzle and restored chips to one drip pan.  Vertical hairlines.  The female figure with yellowing or residue to the undersides of the arms and scattered drips of wax.  Oxidation and spotting to the ormolu.
