Pair Meiji Japanese Mixed Metal Inlaid Bronze Vases

Our wonderful pair of bronze vases with exceptional figurative modeling in relief and soft metal inlay depict deities or monks and flowering tree brances in oval shaped cartouches on front and rear.  Circa 1880s-1910.  11 1/2 inches (29.2 cm) tall.  They are signed and in excellent condition, with modest rubbing wear, scuffs and light scratches.  Signature reads as follows:

宝江吉盛

Takara Kō Yoshi Mori or Takarae Yoshimori or Takara Yoshimori.
