Pair of Louis XVI Style Bronze and Vernis Martin Bonheur Du Jours, P.E Guerin NY

Unavailable

A fabulous pair of Louis XVI style bronze, Vernis Martin, and marquetry Bonheur Du Jours, (Desks, cabinets) by P.E. Guerin N.Y. and retailed by Bailey Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia, circa 1890 Finely mounted with doré bronze mounts, and nice vernis martin paintings, this pair is very 100% fully functional and would look beautiful in any room. Back of most bronzes stamped P.E. Guerin, one of the Bonheurs has a sticker from Bailey Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia. Very rare and hard to find a true pair of matching Bonheur du jours. Good condition, some mounts with loss to gilding, some of the vernis martin panels are not in pristine condition due to age. However, these minor issues don't take away from these beauties. Measures: 46" high x 24" wide x 18" deep.
