Pair Louis XIV Baroque Style Gilt Bronze Candelabra

This tremendous pair of gilt candelabra in the Baroque, Louis XIV style date from the late 19th century and are attributed to Theodore Millet of Paris.

Each in good condition. A few mounts are a little loose.  There is rubbing wear and oxidation to the gilt surfaces, plus scratches and nicks, consistent with age.

Founded by Theodore Millet in Paris in 1853, the firm produced the finest quality original designs and reproductions of important Louis XV and Louis XVI period designs for Francois Linke among other prestigious designers of the late 19th and early 20th century. The firm closed its doors in 1918.
