Our pair of sconces from the late Empire period, dating from the first or second quarter of the nineteenth century, feature patinated bronze wall plates in the form of neoclassical masks, three gilt bronze candle arms of arrow form with candle holders rising from spheres. 10 in tall, 11 in across and 7 in deep. Drilled and electrified in the early twentieth century with faux candles made of shaped wax, and now in need of new sockets and wiring which we may install prior to shipment.
