Pair Camel Form Anglo-Indian Ebonized Side Tables

Unavailable

Our pair of antique Anglo-Indian side tables with dark reddish brown finish are carved in the form of camels standing on solid stretchers with ball-shaped feet.  28.5 in tall, 29 in wide and 17.75 in deep (72.4 by 73.7 by 45 cm).

There are cracks at the necks at on the stretchers, scratches, scuffs and small losses, including noticeable ones on the neck and  edge of the stretcher on one. There is rubbing wear to the stained finish, particularly noticeable on the top surface of the tabletops, along with surface dirt in the crevices of the tops and stretchers.  Table tops show some warping and wear along the edges.  The decorative motifs of the skirts have different designs.  A portion of the skirt on one table was missing when our client acquired the pair, and this section has been filled and stained, somewhat crudely, but effectively.  There are likely older restorations as well.
