This wonderful pair of Neo-Grecian gilt bronze jardinieres from Barbedienne, circa 1880s-1900, after the original designs by Claude Michel (1738-1814), aka Clodion, feature malachite veneered bases and measure 27 by 16 by 12 in (69 by 41 by 30 cm).  There are some malachite losses and old restorations, as seen in our images.  Inscribed BARBEDIENNE.  Professional restoration of the malachite, including full replacement, may be done prior to shipment.
