Oldsmobile Stands Up Ad 1945 This is an April 2, 1945 advertisement It is a great color ad from Oldsmobile, Division of General Motors, with nice graphics from an early magazine. It reads, Hydro-Matic Stands Up in the fiercest battle action. And in the toughest wartime driving. Shows this Army tank in action and the blue Oldsmobile. It reads, Olds introduced Hydra-matic drive to the motoring public in 1939 more than five years ago. By the time the war broke out it had already proved its worth. One of the tanks sent into action by the Army was the Cadillac built M-24 equipped with a Hydra Matic transmission. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4"" wide by 13 1/4"" tall.
