Oldsmobile Pugnacious Pup Ad 1944 This is a June 17, 1944 advertisement It is a great color ad from Oldsmobile, Division of General Motors, with nice graphics from an early magazine. It pictures this Pugnacious Pup, with wings on its' helmet, and it reads, Official Insigne 355th Fighter Squadron Army Air Forces. To the men who fly into battle with this emblem on their Aircobra fighter planes and to those other squadron members who do their work on the ground, Oldsmobile respectfully dedicates this page. Oldsmobile makes the automatic aircraft cannon which are mounted on the planes of the Pugnaciour Pups and other famous squadrons. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2"" wide by 13 7/8"" tall.
