Marie Angelique Catherine Kauffmann (1741-1807) a Swiss artist worked primarily in a neo-classical style. Many artist coppied her original paintings and used them on porcelains during the 19th and 20th century. This large charger has three different scenic transfers each having Putti (cupids) and with partial nude maidens. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is age wear to the gold gilt rim.
