OLD pitcher, red clay, dk brown glaze. This is a nice terra cotta type pitcher with unusual spout. Would make a lovely watering can now. Appears very old, has lots of little nicks in the clay (see photos) but is still in excellent condition. Most of the cold paint is still on. What a wonderful red flower!! No cracks chips et. Appears to be some sort of salt glaze. Gives off a little lustre appearance. Would probably hold about a quart. Aprox 9" tall x 4 1/2 at widest point.
