Old MONARCH Tea Tin Container Can Paper Label - LION

The paper label on this MONARCH Tea container is very colorful and pretty - it features the famous MONARCH LION logo. The container measures approximately 3 1/8" square. It held 4 oz. of Orange Pekoe tea at one time. It was packed by Reid, Murdoch & Co. in Chicago, Ill. This company was established in 1853. The container is cardboard with a metal top and bottom. This tea container would be a very nice addition to your collection! One side is in EXCELLENT condition for display, although the cover is missing and one side is dented slightly. Still a very neat old advertising piece!
