Our marble bust of a beautiful female comes from Antonio Piazza (1875-1925).  Signed A Piazza Carrara on rear.

The sculptor's works have regularly appeared at major auction. A notable recent sale occurred at Sotheby's in London on June 18, 2020, when lot 166, a 36 inch marble figure of Euridyce was offered with an estimate of 10,000-15,000 BP and sold for 12,500.
