Antique Star Stoneware Pitcher Grapes/Trellis Brown Glaze 7.5"H

$50.00
Quantity available: 1

Heavy pottery pitcher made by Star Stoneware Company, ca. 1890's. Believe this company was located in Crooksville, Ohio, rather than the Red Wing, Minnesota based pottery, but not completely sure.  Molded pattern of grapes and trellis/lattice combination. Dark brown glaze inside and out, has a few glitches and inclusions. "Dry" unglazed base and foot rim with impressed 5 point star in center.  Measures 7.5"h x 5.25"d base. Good condition with no chips or cracks, other than a factory flaw chip to the foot rim as shown. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
