Antique Orientalist Bronze Mantel Clock Depicting Sultan and Sultana

Our lovely nineteenth century bronze mantel clock features the finely sculpted figures of a romantic sultan and sultana seated on an animal pelt rug.  Overall in good condition, with obvious wear to the painted numerals on the dial, and an apparent bronze mount missing on the front on the left side.  We have not found signatures on the movement and the maker is unknown.
