This 19th century bronze by Louis Auguste Lalouette (1826-1883) depicts a middle-eastern (Arabian or Egyptian) female dancer holding daggers, and measures 27 in (69 cm) tall.  Signed in the cast LALOUETTE.  This French artist, listed in the Benezit, is known for his figures of classical, medieval and middle eastern subjects. ( French School )
