Antique Oak Medical Battery Box CA 1900-1910

The box was once used to power up a home medical devise. I’ve sold some of the old “quack” devises in the past, but none with this type of a battery box. The hardware is actually nickel plated (no rust). The inside storage area is 3.6” high x 4.1” wide x 7.6” long. As you can see the corner joints are top notch and the box frame is very sturdy.
Condition is good with some clear varnish wear, but no damage, about 20% of the original label is intact.
The carry handle on top is nickel plated and pretty rare.
