This chest of drawers in the Louis XVI style after the original model by Jean-Francois Leleu (1729-1807) dates from the early 20th century, and features a variegated white marble top and gilt bronze mounts.  The original commode dating from 1796 was installed at the Luxembourg Palace and resides in the collection of Versailles. Condition is good. There is rubbing, nicks, and scratches, all consistent with age. Item HA-2077.0.21-122616.
