An antique Italian Grand Tour green Serpentine marble Inkwell, Naples, Italy, circa 1860. A round marble inkwell, the lid exterior set with lava cameos of Classical figures, the interior with a watercolor scene. Very nice and collectible Souvenir from the Grand Tour. Measures: 3.5" high x 6" wide Good condition. Normal wear consistent with age and use. Very minor hairlines and chips (not so visible).
