Antique 17th -18th century, Indo Persian Islamic Indian Mughal Nagan or Serpentine sword with khanjar shape steel hilt, silver inlaid with foliage and chevrons. With sturdy serpentine-shaped steel blade, decorated on both sides of the blade with silver inlaid koftgari (worn out).
Note: traditionally the Nagan does not have a scabbard

CONDITION: Showing age and usage, with age patina, some wear to silver inlaid on the hilt, silver inlaid on the blade worn out.
