This extraordinary blue and white majolica urn in the Louis XV style features extensive gilt bronze mounts in rocaille and acanthus motifs, plus central cartouche depicting putti.  Measures 24.5 in (61.5 cm) in height and is in good condition.  Maker is unknown and the work is apparently unsigned.
