Antique Chinese Ming Dynasty Bronze Mirror 1368–1644 AD
Antique Chinese, Ming Dynasty,(1368–1644 A.D.) small round bronze mirror in Han Dynasty pattern, cast with central knob encircled by five small bosses amidst five stylized birds, all enclosed by hatchured bands and the inward-sloping rim.
The Ming dynasty bronze mirrors cast in the Hand Dynasty pattern are very rare compared to the other Ming Dynasty mirrors.
DIAMETER: 7.8 cm (3.07 inches).
WEIGHT: 113 grams.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing its age and usage with dark brown patina. The surface of the front of the mirror with scratches and spots of heavy encrustation.
