Antique Brass Chestnut Burner, Man With Pipe, England
Heavy brass antique chestnut burner with the raised figure of a man at a table holding a pipe. This has a very long handle and a snap closure. The front has been cleaned to present a clearer image. The sides, which shows some verdigris, has been untouched. The country name of origin is listed on the bottom part of the back of the handle.
The entire piece measures 23" and the bowl itself is over 6" in diameter. The snap closure works well. This piece is ideal for a wall display and would fit very well in a country, Victorian or eclectic home.
