Cobalt Blue Glazed Ceramic & Silverplated Jardiniere Centerpiece

This magnificent and large neoclassical ceramic jardiniere with cobalt blue glaze features wonderful silverplated metal mounts in the neoclassical style, including masks, ribbons, floral swags and animal paw feet.  Measures: 14" tall and 17" in diameter. Good condition.  There is some visible wear in spots to the plated finish, consistent with age.  Underside carries the impressed mark of the model number, 2589, but we have not found a maker's mark.  We believe this may come from the factory of Sarreguemines in France, or other French faïencerie.
