Antique, 19th-century oval bronze portrait, bas-relief with a beveled rim, by J. Teper, of the famous Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period, Frederic Chopin.

The beautifully crafted plaque depicts the famous pianist and composer Frédéric Chopin. In the image, Chopin can be seen with his distinctive curly hair, looking dapper in a jacket with wide lapels and a stylish bowtie. The intricate details of the plaque beautifully capture the essence of Chopin's style and personality, making it a truly remarkable piece of art.

Fryderyk Chopin was born on March 1, 1810, in Żelazowa Wola. He passed away on October 17, 1849, in Paris, France.

On the back of the ribbon, there is some hard-to-read cast writing, possibly a foundry mark, located at the bottom of the reverse side of the plaque. A suspension loop made of iron wire is attached to the back of the plaque, which was added during the casting process while the bronze was still in its liquid state.
