This is an authentic antique cloisonné enamel teapot from late 19th century Japan, made during the Meiji period. The teapot is of an inverted baluster shape and rests on a tall flared foot. It has a side handle, a long spout, and a domed lid with a chrysanthemum knob. The teapot is decorated with beautiful floral and butterfly motifs set against a turquoise and dark blue background.

CONDITION:

The teapot is in excellent condition overall, with a lovely aged patina and no cracks, chips, restorations, or repairs.
