A scarce authentic antique 19th century Russian Imperial Army military braid trim lace with general zigzag pattern (Генеральский галун) used for trimming Generals’ Parade uniforms epaulets, shoulder boards, and hatbands. The lace is made of gold-plated real pure silver wire-bullion and is woven around a satin silk thread core.

The listing includes the associated pictures showing both sides of the braid.

CONDITION: Age and usage are showing. Has some patina and minor wear. Please see the photos as they are a part of the description.

This very rare Russian Imperial Army General trim lace was kept in a roll for generations as an investment asset for its silver value.
