This is a solid silver Russian Orthodox cross, commonly known as Telnik (Крест-тельник), an antique from the 16th -18th century.

The cross is intricately designed and crafted with great attention to detail. It features a traditional Orthodox design with an ornate, tapered shape and decorative engravings. This piece is thought to have originated in Veliky Novgorod, a historic city in northwestern Russia. It is an exquisite example of traditional Orthodox religious art and is truly a one-of-a-kind treasure.

CONDITION: Although it shows signs of wear and tear, the silver cross is in great condition for a 300-year-old cross, displaying a beautiful dark patina.
