North Bros. No. 41 Yankee Push Drill w/6 Drill Bits 1901

Unavailable

This is a nice clean, Spiral push drill marked "YANKEE NO. 41 NORTH BROS. MFG. CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A. PAT. JAN.25.98-OCT.29.01". It features 10 compartments inside the handle that have a total of 6 different sized drills in them (from 1/16"-11/64"). In this style push drill there there is a knurled ring that is threaded and attached to the handle when closed, this ring releases the handle from the end cap, exposes the various drill bits for removal. The push drill is clean with about 50% of the nickel plating intact, a few very minor scratches on it. It measures 9.6" long overall. This push drill uses the Stanley or North Brothers "YANKEE" type drill bits with the notch and flat on the shank. Works great, with a good main spring and good working screw chuck. A very nice clean tool, over 100 years old!
