Nineteenth Century French Theree Piece Clock Set Silver Over Bronze, Pierced In The Moorish Orientalist Style, With Matching Candelabra

Late nineteenth century French three piece clock set in the Moorish style (Orientalist) having a heavy silvered bronze clock case and matching candelabra, all pierced with wonderful work throughout. Candelabra having four arms each. Original mechanics which are two train striking the hours and half hours on a cast bell. Movement having a balance wheel escapement intended probably for a bedroom or sitting room for noise reduction of a swinging pendulum.

Circa: 1885

Clock: 16 1/2" height by 10" width by 8" depth; Candelabra: 17" height, 11 1/2" width at arms, 5 1/2" diameter at base

Wonderful original condition. Silver slightly tarnished but could be polished. (Tarnished only due to normal oxidation)

Movement will be cleaned at time of sale for purchaser to ensure proper working order.
