Henin et Cie Gilt Silver and Crystal Dessert Vessel

Unavailable

Our French cold dessert vessel, the finest we've seen in our 20 years in business, is crafted from cut crystal with gilt bronze mounts and gilt silver spoons by Henin et Cie of Paris.  Spoons have the mark, "H&Cie" with rosebud above and star below, plus the eight-sided mark of Minerva, the French guarantee mark for .950 silver.  Active from 1896, Henin et Cie was the successor to Henin et Vivier.

We have not found a maker's mark on the glass.  The quality is comparable to Baccarat.

Condition is excellent. There is a very small chip from the lip of the top.  Spoons have a relatively high polish and would be brought to a greater luster with little effort.  There are light scratches to the glass.
