Originally designed around 1940 and later published by Takamizawa under the Uchiwa-e Hakke (8 fan prints) series during the 1970s.
8 fan prints series was issued using the original woodblocks in a limited edition of 280 sets of 8 prints each.
Following this issue the woodblocks rendered completed and will never be used again.
Settai is an inspirational and prolific illustrator and designer established popularity and following constantly growing to present times.
