A great looking necklace that lays beautifully on the neck. I do believe this dates from the 1980's. The gold finish is worn on the front of the links. The cab with the griffin has been replaced. When I acquired this piece, the center was missing it's stone. But, I found this lovely cream plastic cab with gold glitter and an imbedded griffin that seemed to do the trick. It fits nicely and looks nice. The clear rhinestones surrounding it are original to the piece. The necklace measures approx. 18" by 3/4" wide. The centerpiece measures approx. 1 1/2"X1 1/8".
