Our Indo-Persian delightful bidri silver-inlaid metal deer measures 38 3/4 in (98.4 cm) tall, dates from the early 20th century and is in good condition.  There are scratches, scuffs, rubbing wear and stains and may have restorations.  Apparently unsigned.  Additional images forwarded upon request.  Species appears to be the fallow deer, red deer, chatal, or possibly barasingha or sambar.
