Ancient Scythian cast bronze horse shank curb bit bridle 6th - 4th century B.C. Northern Black Sea Region. Comprised a two-curve shanks with three integral rein rings.

MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 13.5 (5.31inches)
WEIGHT: 133 grams.
CONDITION: In Excellent condition for an antique over 2300 years old bronze horse bit. No cracks or repairs. The surface is covered by its natural green patina and earth encrustation.
Provenance: Ex Private old Canadian collection of antiques and antiquities formed in the 1980s.
