Vintage Napier Swan Hors d'oeuvre Pick Holder. The head is a nice cherry red bakelite ball with two little holes for eyes that also can be used to hold a pick on either side. The body is silver plate.

This is one of those, rare, very hard to come by items from the 1930's or 1940's.

On the bottom you can see in the picture that there is a patent #.

There measurements are 6 ¼” tall and 3” wide

The condition is very good. There are few signs of wear and age around the edges. It looks like some of the plating has worn off. I thought is was merely tarnish but the dark areas did not shine up with normal polishing.

It is a lovely and very collectible piece.
