MZ Hutschenreuther Altrohlau China

This is a 49 piece china set that has a delicate pattern that shows pink flowers on a leafy garland that is bordered by two gold stripes (a gold stripe above and below it) seen along the outer edge of the piece. It is a pretty set that was made in the 1930's in Czechoslovakia right before world war II (the factory that made this china had to be "nationalized" after these pieces were produced). The set has 12, 9 1/2 inch plates and 1, 8 3/4 inch plate; there are 2, 7 1/2 inch wide and 1 3/8 inch tall bowls and 1, 5 1/2 inch wide and 2 1/2 inch tall bowl; there are 10, 5 1/4 inch wide and 1 inch tall bowls; there are 10, 3 1/2 inch wide and 1 5/8 inch tall cups; there are 13, 5 1/4 inch saucers. These pieces have been given tinder loving care throughout the years but there are a few minor issues. One of the 9 1/2 inch plates has a fleabite nick at the very edge of the plate. The 8 3/4 inch plate has a small chip on the very bottom which cannot be seen unless the plate is picked up and examined. One of the 5 1/4 inch wide and 1 inch tall bowls has a tiny fleabite chip to the under rim of the bowl; 3 of the cups have very tiny fleabite chips to their outer rims, The majority of the pieces in this set are in excellent condition and in spite of these few minor issues, this set is in good condition and is fully functional.
