Murano Handmade Blown Glass "PRAYING MADONNA" MID CENTURY  J. I. Co .MURANO  ITALY .  She stands 11" .   She is of clear cased glass over  London Blue with a gold flecked face and halo..   The condition is excellent.  Any flecks you see are the result of the camera flash.  There are not really any bubbles to note of.  .   She has her hands discretely out front under the sleeves of her robe in a  graceful prayer position.  The face does not have much details as it is a modernist sort of abstract depiction.     The base pontil is ground smooth.  There is no signature but I have learned that this master of glass used a paper label which is not on this sculpture.
