Wonderful, rare arts and crafts tile by the Mueller Mosaic Company, Trenton, NJ, c. 1908, depicting a knight on horseback with a lance at the ready. This tile was originally installed in a floor and so the raised portion of the border of the tile was left unglazed. There is a chip to the upper right corner and edge nicks at upper left and lower right edges as seen in the photo, but these don't detract too much as they are in the unglazed portions of the tile.
