Morton Salt and Girl Holding Celery Ad 1959 this is a Marcy 1959 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Morton Salt Company of Chicago. Ad shows a young girl wearing a yellow hat and green and white dress carrying a basket with a stalk of celery showing in the basket. She is holding two pieces of the celery in her hand and ad reads, Any celery worth its salt is worth Mortons. It also says, Celery was grown in the Mediterranean countries in 850 BCC bust was used only for medicinal purposes. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 5 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
